One jar of Ragu pizza sauce. One package of pepperoni. Shredded cheddar cheese. Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shred cheddar cheese Chop pepperoni Open, and unroll […]
Book! He said it a couple of times. 🙂
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, by L. Frank Baum, with pictures by William Wallace Denslow, was originally published by the George M. Hill Company in Chicago, on May 17, 1900. I received an edition of this book printed by Eastern Press, and two others in the series, as a gift from my mother in law, […]
This past week Jack’s diet was more like that of a toddler. More cups, less bottles. Lot’s of self feeding, and table food. Cheerios. Are. Everywhere. I sweep the floor countless times a day. Jack has been fairly easy to get to nap during the day, but very difficult to put to bed at night. […]
Ok, let’s talk about sippy cups. Every sippy cup we have tried with Jack, prior to this one, has been a bust. The first one we tried was from the Nuk brand, the same brand as his bottles, which are great. That one was a no, because Jack was too focused on the handle attachment. […]
My son Jack and I were strolling thru Target the other day, and we went by the toy aisle. They had one of those large cage bins full of colorful beach balls out. There was a mother with her son, a boy a few years older than Jack, and he was making a selection from […]
Jack now has seven teeth. BOOM. Just like that. Crazy.
I’m a Fuerte Avocado tree, and I’m one year old.
Jack had his monthly visit with his occupational therapist on Monday, she says keep up the good work. She expects him to start walking anytime now, but no hurry. Jacks teething saga continues, he’s got three teeth on the bottom now, and one on top. Plus another top one has just barely started cutting. For […]

They make heartwarming things like this for the NICU parents on Holidays. How amazing is that!? As if NICU […]
On Saturday, Mr. Jack went on another long car trip. It was two hours both ways, and he was good as gold. The purpose of our adventure was a family reunion of sorts, and a tree dedication for Grandpa Rob. Grandpas Sister Elaine and late Husband Jim, have a park dedicated to them in the […]
Jacks Grammy and I , took him on his very first mall trip yesterday. He did really well. He loves to people watch. He definitely hit his limit after a couple shops though. Next time we will take daddy with us, for some extra hands.
