Jack is 14 months old today!
It’s been a big week for us, Jack is sleeping thru the night again (in his own crib) hooray! He’s also been taking perfect little steps as he walks along underneath us, holding onto our hands. Before he would just try to sit down and crawl away, or start jumping up and down. Jack has also been so much more communicative lately, he uses a lot of gestures and facial expressions to convey his wants and needs, he’s also talking up a storm and seems to have developed his own special language. Jack also graduated from early intervention this week. A first for that program, as Jack is the youngest age who came with the highest risk they have ever graduated after only 6 months of check-ups with the occupational therapist. He’s developing quickly for both his adjusted and his actual age and we are all very proud of his progress. I am truly forever grateful that I have been able to stay home with him. Having the opportunity to follow his every cue and lead has really been a huge contributing factor to his ability to thrive.
It’s hard to believe that this time last year, we were in the NICU.
